Short answers about how Haven TV runs in a building today. Anything else, ask us on the walkthrough.

Which TVs does it work with?

Haven runs on a small box connected to each TV, not on the TV itself. In the pilot we use one box model, the Homatics Box R 4K Plus. We'll look at the TVs in your units together on the walkthrough.

Do residents need an account?

For Haven's services, yes. Your team invites each resident by email from the dashboard. They confirm their email, add their name and choose a password, then sign in on the TV with the remote or, where it's switched on, by scanning a code with their phone.

Without signing in, the TV still opens Wi-Fi, settings and their own apps.

Do residents' own streaming apps still work?

Yes. Haven is the home screen and shows the apps installed on the box in one row. Apps open only if they're installed, and Haven doesn't include streaming subscriptions, so residents use their own accounts.

What happens if the internet goes down?

The TV keeps working. Haven stays on the home screen, and residents can still open their apps, Wi-Fi and settings. Repairs, parcels and rewards need the connection, so they come back when it does. The box reconnects on its own.

How do updates work?

Each box checks the Haven server for a new version a few times a day and installs it by itself. Before installing, it checks that the update is genuine. Nobody has to visit the unit.

What can each person on my team do?

Everyone signs in to the dashboard with their own account and role. Maintenance staff work the repair queue and complete the jobs assigned to them. Front-desk staff log and hand out parcels. Supervisors also manage resident access, TV boxes and staff accounts.

Who handles support?

Residents go to your property team first; the TV tells them so, because your team manages their access. During the pilot, we work directly with your staff on anything to do with the boxes or the dashboard.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on your building; we'll go through it on the walkthrough.

Is the AI Concierge included?

Not yet. The AI Concierge is coming next and isn't part of the pilot yet. Pilot buildings start with repairs, parcels, rewards, weather and residents' own apps on one home screen.

Privacy and security.

Haven keeps what it needs to run repairs, parcels and rewards in your building, and your team sees it by role.

  • What Haven keeps

Resident account details, their unit, repair requests, parcel records and rewards points. Small choices like the weather city stay on the TV.

  • Who can see it

Your staff, signed in to the dashboard, each with a role. Maintenance staff see repairs, not parcels, and only supervisors manage resident access.

  • What it doesn't do

Haven's TV app doesn't use a camera or microphone. It talks to the Haven server only over encrypted connections, and passwords are never stored as plain text.
